Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights
BLISS is devoted to creating a safe green space where children can play and develop a deeper relationship with nature, which fulfills goals put forth by the Baltimore Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights, which states:
“children in Baltimore have the right to: breathe fresh air... explore safe and inviting forests and wild spaces… understand and feel connected to their city’s unique ecosystem...” and more (Weinmann, 2019).
